Many viewers have been told stories from a similar angle, but that view remains exciting here as you deal with a confusing but well-woven plot with female leads, each of whom reliably grabs our attention whenever she appears

The goal was to give myself a chance to appreciate the gift given to us by the many A-list actors who contributed to this work, which, by the way, was enjoyed and appreciated by many despite its mixed reviews.

At the halfway mark, we can’t tell if this sense of urgency as we discover more and more of what’s going on will remain at the level it is now, but given the subject matter covered, the budget and the talent pool with which they’ve managed to bring this to the screen, it’s going to be tough miss the landing, mainly because of the series' solid foundation
