After receiving an unexpected call from her scout ancestors, Moana journeys to the far-flung seas of Oceania and dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike any she’s ever known. The series originally began as a television series in 2020, with plans for the series to premiere on Disney+. In February 2024, the series was turned into a theatrical sequel.
